Who Are We?
The name McWade’s Inn is in honor of my mother, Mary McWade, whose father was born in County Longford in Ireland. One of the many things we have loved about this process is getting to renovate the house with some of our wonderful family and spending quality time together. One thing you will see all around McWade’s inn is The Tree of Life. We can’t wait for you to experience Ireland in the heart of Downtown Clayton.

The Parlor
Upon entering the Inn to the right of the beautiful, grand staircase you will find our parlor. The parlor invites you to enjoy a quiet moment catching up on your favorite book by the fireplace or drinking a fresh cup of coffee in the morning. As you relax in our parlor, our antique furniture and beautiful windows will transport you to an Ireland-inspired getaway while you unwind with us.
The Game Room
When you stay with us, there is always something fun for you to do here. Our Game Room features a complete card and game table that includes Roulette, Craps, and Black Jack for you to enjoy during your stay. After you’re finished playing a few rounds, cozy up by our duraflame electric fireplace and turn on the TV to catch up on your favorite show before bed.
The Common Area
At McWades Inn we want you to feel right at home when you stay with us. Guests can take advantage of our common area kitchen, which includes utensils, a refrigerator with plenty of space for leftovers, a Keurig and coffee pot, and a coffee creamer. We also provide light snacks such as water, soda, cereal, yogurt, chips, and granola.
The Porch
Our wrap-around front porch has plenty of seating and a porch swing for you to soak up the sun and enjoy a tranquil moment out in nature. Our ample seating surrounded by the beautiful flowers and the sound of our wind chime makes this the perfect spot to get things done for work, meet with a client, or just simply enjoy a moment of serenity. Our porch gives you a lovely view to soak up our beautiful town of Clayton.
The Market at Three Little Birds is just a short walk through Downtown Clayton. This boutique features a variety of unique items from home decor and stationery, to soaps and gifts for any occasion.
Brick & Mortar Events
Brick & Mortar Events specializes in catering for weddings with all-inclusive wedding menus, rehearsal dinners, next day brunch, baby or bridal showers, anniversaries, baptisms, birthdays, family or class reunions!
Boulevard is where you’ll find the locals of Downtown Clayton enjoying coffee and catching up on work or chatting with friends! Enjoy plenty of seating inside or enjoy lounging in their outdoor area.
